Provenance

The Quandongs for our freeze-dried Quandong powder are harvested by us from an organic orchard in South Australia. We also grow our own quandongs in South Australia and will be harvesting them in a couple of years. When buying our Quandong powder, you know you are getting premium quality Quandongs that are harvested at the right time to ensure the nutrients are maintained.
Most quandong orchards use sprays to control the native quandong moth. This native moth has evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to use the quandong tree as a host. We do not use sprays in our orchards that we pick from, allowing the moth to have a share of the quandongs. We instead rely on the birds to use this moth as a food source as they have always done. Moth affected fruit is composted and put back into the soil.
We freeze dry and process our own Quandongs and employ Indigenous people in the sale of our product.
