This little Australian native is our very own super-berry! The muntrie is a small green and purple berry that grows on a woody ground cover found in western Victoria and SA. Cate’s grandmother used to pick them with her cousin in the 1940’s. They ate them raw and made them into delicious jams and chutneys. First Nations People traditionally used them as an important source of food. They ate them fresh, dried them for later to eat when food was scarce and traded them with other clans.

Flavour: Spiced apple flavour.
